In 2013, the classicist and presenter Mary Beard received a torrent of online abuse from people who hated the fact that she was clever and had untidy hair.  The abuse was offensive and obscene - and has been translated into Latin and set to music for this short musical.  It tells the true story of two clever Victorian women who wrote a Latin primer.  The music and the singing are impeccable in this stylish piece of highbrow humour.
